The federal government has announced the recipients of 167 more Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships, bringing the total awarded to date to 507. The scholarships — worth $50,000 a year for three years — go to Canadian and international doctoral students studying at Canadian universities. The program is designed to retain and attract top-flight talent and brand Canada as a global centre of research excellence.
